Elle and Lakmé threw a dazzling Pride party to celebrate the launch of their first-ever Pride cover and it was our mission to capture that vibrant essence to translate it into a captivating AR experience. The goal was to engage influential LGBTQIA+ voices fostering a fun, meaningful, and inclusive connection with the brand.
Inspired by the ethos of Pride and the distinctiveness of both Elle and Lakmé, our expert team developed a simple yet effective AR effect that offered users a taste of the spotlight. The AR effect allowed users to take their pictures and instantly see how they would look on the cover of Elle Magazine – a joyful experience that amplified the party spirit while celebrating diversity and self-expression.
The Instagram AR effect struck a chord with its users, becoming a huge hit at the Pride party. It served as the perfect addition to their fabulous party and it received an overwhelming response with around fifty thousand impressions. It also garnered significant engagements, boosting the event's visibility and success.
